Parents across Nandi County have been reminded to give their best to their children especially in terms of quality education by investing in them for their better future.
This is according to Edith Cowan University Brand Ambassador to Kenya Mr. Alfred Koech who is keen in giving back to the society by supporting the needy and students to achieve their dreams.
Speaking at St. Augustine Border Land primary school in Mlango area Nandi County during his visitation tour to honor his promise of supporting the best KCPE student from the school to proceed to high school, Koech said that he believes in giving back to the society through support of the needy and mentoring special talents as his passion is to give thus urging parents to invest in education of their children.
Koech cited that during his days concerning his poor family background, he was offered a helping hand to pursue his career which made him to be who he is today and thus has offered to do the same thing to the lesser by holding their hands because giving back is a great way to discover new passion or interests.
He revealed that he is focusing on special unit programs and mentoring special talents to support the needy urging the political leadership from the region to also chip in and offer the same for the betterment of our societies and communities at large.
“I would like to give back to the society by empowering the young generation more so, the lesser in the society to achieve their dreams,” he affirmed.
