Matulo ward MCA Paul Wanyonyi has called on his political rivals to go slow and give him time and space to deliver his promises that he made to his people during last general election, “I have the mandate from my people of Matulo ward to deliver and change their lives for the better until next year,” said MCA Paul.

He said that some of the aspirants are using propaganda in order to gain political mileage instead of selling their ideas to the people, “Some politicians believe so much in propaganda and nevertheless am sure people have seen what I have done, most of the roads that were impassable are now good, especially the road from Minata towards Malaha area and that from Satellite to Munyikana village, and there is also the piped water project that is underway just to ensure my people get clean water,” added Paul Wanyonyi.

He urged the residents of Matulo ward to embrace development and give way, especially when contractors who are working on roads approach areas where residents have encroached on public land that is meant for road expansion.

He added that those who have trees along the road should cut them down before the contractors reach their areas so that work can be eased.

He called on all politicians and different party supporters to maintain peaceful campaigns as the country heads towards the general election next year, saying “We are one family and we shall need each other during the upcoming election.” He said, “Regardless of party affiliations and political rivalry we must always remember that peace is the most important thing in life and am appealing to all my fellow politicians to tame their supporters and tolerate each other at all times because Matulo ward, Webuye West constituency, Bungoma county and our country Kenya is bigger than all of us,” he added “When clashes erupt, those who suffer most are youths and our old parents, yet we need them so let’s be  watchful, evaluate, and get the best leaders in the coming elections” Paul Wanyonyi said.
