A tough month for motorists awaits as The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) of Kenya has announced an increase in Super petrol and diesel prices, by Kshs 2.67 per litre and Kshs 2.13 per litre respectively, while the price of Kerosene has reduced by Kshs 1.26 per litre. The new prices will be in effect from February 15th to March 14th. In Nairobi, Super petrol will retail at Kshs 112.87 per litre, Diesel at Kshs 104.45 per litre and Kerosene at Kshs 102.69 per litre.
The ‘per litre’ prices in some Western towns are as follows; In Kakamega, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 113.64, Diesel will retail at Kshs 105.43, Kerosene will retail at Kshs 103.68. In Bungoma, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 114.30, Diesel at Kshs 106.09, and Kerosene at Kshs 104.33. In Malaba, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 114.72, Diesel will retail at Kshs 106.51 and Kerosene at Kshs 104.76. In Kitale, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 113.89, Diesel will retail at Kshs 105.59 and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 103.93. In Eldoret, Super petrol will retail at Kshs 113.59, Diesle will retail at Kshs 105.38 and Kerosene at Kshs 103.61.
In Webuye, Super petrol will retail at Kshs 113.76, Diesel will retail at Kshs 105.56 and Kerosene at Kshs 103.80. In Kapenguria, Super petrol will retail at Kshs 114.27, diesel at Kshs 106.06 and Kerosene at Kshs 104.30. In Busia, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 114.78, Diesel at Kshs 106.58 per litre and Kerosene at Kshs 104.81 per litre.
