Mbakalo Ward Member of County Assembly Bethuel Mwambu has called upon locals and politicians in Tongaren Constituency to embrace peace and continue living together in harmony as the Nation looks forward to the upcoming August 9th General Elections.
Speaking to West Fm in Namawanga village in Mbakalo ward, the Bungoma County Assembly legislator emphasized on the need for politicians and locals to continue living in peace even as the nation gears towards the upcoming General Elections in August. He was however saddened with a number of politicians in Tongaren who are not embracing peace during this campaign season, calling upon them to preach peace and be role models to the locals.
Mwambu who is eyeing the Tongaren Constituency seat on National Vision Party, affiliated to the Kenya Kwanza Coalition has emphasized that elections will soon pass with time advising fellow politicians and Kenyans to distance themselves from divisive politics and rather to harmoniously coexist for the well-being of this Nation.
He has pledged to come up with a number of projects to benefit the locals who are languishing in poverty so as to improve their living standards in the society if he will be elected as the Tongaren Member of Parliament in the August 9th General Elections.
