On education, the President is expected to address the issue of lack of a University within the County.
President Kenyatta may also be confronted by the grappling between some Jubilee leaders in the region, notably Alwin Sasia and Endebess MP Robert Pukose, who battled it out in the Jubilee party primaries. Incumbent MP Pukose was declared the winner, but Alwin Sasia rejected the results, and recently, their supporters clashed with several hospitalized.
There is also a perceived disagreement between the Endebess MP, Trans Nzoia Women Representative Janet Nangabo, and Water CS Eugene Wamalwa. Robert Pukose has alleged that the County MP and CS Wamalwa have been supporting his opponent Alwin Sasia. However, both CS Wamalwa and Janet Nangabo have denied the allegations, saying they have no interest in Endebess politics.
