Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has confirmed that President William Ruto will be in attendance for an interdenominational prayer service scheduled for this Sunday in Cheptais Sub-County. The event, which aims to unite people from various Christian denominations in prayer, will take place at Cheptais High School.
The service is part of President Ruto’s broader visit to the Western Region, marking the beginning of a week-long tour dedicated to engaging with local communities and unveiling a series of development projects that aim to transform the region’s socio-economic landscape.
Following the prayer service, the President will kick off a number of initiatives designed to uplift the region’s infrastructure, boost local economies, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents. These projects are part of the government’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that all regions in the country receive equal attention in the national development agenda.
