Over the years, corruption in Kenya has become a complex problem that requires a multi-faceted approach in the quest to fight it successfully.
With regard to the recent move by President William Ruto naming his Cabinet, he however needs to come up with measures that will increase transparency and accountability on how public funds are utilized in various sectors of economy if he wants to do away with corruption and enhance quality service delivery to the Kenyans.
This is according to Timothy Musakali, Arcbishop of African Divine Church International who has called upon the President to fight corruption among various sector of economy to ensure allocated funds are well utilized to achieve the set goals.
The spiritual leader further noted that the President can entirely do away with corruption by directing relevant authorities and institutions constitutional mandated with investigating and prosecuting economic crimes to work on ensuring that those found guilty are held accountable.
Musakali highlighted that transparency will ensure no individual will have complete authority over public funds, citing that Kenyans have the right to know how public funds are utilized.
They urged Susan Wafula, a recent nominee by the President as the Health CS to use her position to stabilize health sector in Western region by ensuring that health facilities have medical equipment and drugs, besides promoting certain facilities to level 5 in order to enhnace effieciency in quality service delivery to Kenyans.
