Addressing current concerns surrounding Nzoia Sugar Company, Hon. Wanyonyi emphasized that his primary objective as a leader is to ensure the factory becomes fully functional and self-sustainable. He reiterated his vision of a Nzoia Sugar that pays both farmers and employees promptly, thereby stabilizing the regional economy and restoring trust in the sector.
