Jubilee Party Secretary General and Former Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny has been appointed the Chairperson of the Kenya Copyright board for a period of three years.
In a gazette notice dated 26th October 2023, President Ruto appointed Kutuny to serve as the chairperson of the board with effect from 27th October, 2023.
Kutuny belonged to the ODM party from 2007 before he defected to the United Republic Party prior to the 2013 general election, and finally to the Jubilee Party from 2017.
He lost his seat in the 2022 elections on a Jubilee party ticket that is under the Azimio La Umoja to Patrick Simiyu of Democratic Action Party -Kenya
He is one of the few Rift Valley MPs who campaigned for ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in the 2022 elections.
After the polls, he was among Jubilee MPs who united with President Ruto and vowed to work with him.
