William Samoei Ruto is the President elect of Kenya.
Ruto who vied on a UDA ticket garnered 7,176,141 votes equivalent to 50.49% where he managed to get 25% in 39 counties.
Addressing the nation at Bomas of Kenya, the National Returning Officer Wafula Chebukati declared Ruto as the President followed by his close competitor Raila Amollo Odinga of Azimio who got 6,942,930 votes equivalent to 48.5% and managed to get 25% in 34 counties.
George Wajackoya of Roots party got 61,969 equivalent to 0.44%.
David Mwaure of Agano party managed to get 31,937 votes equivalent to 0.23%
