The 24 Cabinet Secretaries appointed by President Ruto have been sworn in today.
The swearing-in ceremony that was presided over by the Head of State was held at State House, Nairobi.
All the Cabinet Secretaries assume office with immediate effect following their swearing-in. This marks the end of an era for all CSs under President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration, except for Simon Chelugui, the former Labour and Social Protection Minister who has been retained as a CS in Ruto’s administration; he is now in charge of the Cooperative and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMES).
