The late Saleh Wanjala, popularly known as ‘James Bond’ has been laid to rest in Magemo, Mihuu ward in Webuye East. Saleh passed away at the Bungoma County Referral Hospital on September 28th after a short illness. He is well known from an incident in 2016, where he clung to the landing skids of a helicopter ferrying the late Jacob Juma from Bungoma posta grounds.
The incident went viral and he was shared on social and mainstream media. A few people were in attendance during the funeral on Wednesday morning.
