Nandika residents in Siboti ward in Bumula constituency have been urged to join West Media fans’ clubs so that they may be able to initiate projects that will enable them to tackle the biting poverty.
This was stated by Bungoma All in One Umbrella fans chairperson Edwin Wanyama alias Gavana Edu during the launch of Sangala Nandika West FM Salaams club where hundreds of fans turned up to witness the auspicious and historical occasion.
Wanyama said that the only way that a society can grow is by people coming together and embracing the spirit of unity that will enable them to do different projects that will generate income thus eradicating poverty, illiteracy among other factors.
He urged parents to prioritize their children’s education since they will be the leaders of tomorrow. Wanyama also urged all fans to register with NHIF so that they may cut on expenses that arise when one falls sick. “The essence of us coming together was to be involved in projects that will enable us take our lives to the next level and standing with each other when in need,” he said.
Bungoma South fans administrator Meshack Wafula alias Operator Meshack Wafula wa Lunao thanked West Media for being supportive and joining them whenever they hold their functions as he cited that presenters presence in a given function makes them strong and feel that love of being part of West Media hence many people have urge to join their salaams clubs.
He emphasized on unity among them as he revealed that is the only way that will enable them achieve their set goals. “I take this opportunity to thank West Media for being available whenever we have a function in Bungoma South Sub County; it is my plea that you continue standing with us as we promise too to support you fully,” he said.
