Kakamega County Deputy Governor Ayub Savula has warned against the stealing of drugs distributed by the County Government to public health centers to help the residents of the County.
Speaking in Mukuyu area, Mautuma Ward, Lugari Sub-County, Savula said despite the efforts by the government to ensure the residents access quality medical health services by supplying enough drugs in the health facilities, most health facilities in Kakamega county lack of drugs
“Our county government led by Governor Fernandes Barasa cannot be distributing drugs in different health facilities to ensure quality health services only to be interrupted by a few culprits who are stealing drugs from public health facilities we will ensure they are dealt with accordingly. “Said Savula
Savula has also asked urged President William Ruto to reduce the price of fuel which has led to increased cost of living
“ We Kakamega leaders are working with the government and we trust our President William Ruto will reduce the price of fuel starting next month as he promised on Sunday a move that will reduce the high cost of living.”
