Lugari MP Ayub Savula has promised to pay school fees for all the pupils from his Constituency who have made it to National Schools.
Speaking when he celebrated with teachers, parents and pupils of Manyonyi primary school after the school posted a sterling performance in the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education KCPE Savula promised to pay full school fees for all pupils who will get admission in National school.
Savula who is an alumnus of the school congratulated the top candidate Betty Kimberly who scored 411 marks topping the entire constituency.
He added that he will continue supporting the infrastructure development of the school. Through the efforts of the MP, the school received Kshs. 10 Million from Kenya Pipeline that changed the face of the school through construction of new classrooms.
According to the school’s head teacher Mr. Julius Mmbihi the exemplary performance could be attributed to cordial relations between parents, teachers and pupils.
“All I can say these are wonderful results, very unexpected yes the pupils were working hard and we expected good results but not as good as they are, I particularly want to thank the teachers, the parents and the young girl Kimberly plus her colleagues they worked very hard as a team and were ready to help each other in class something unique among pupils and because of that we ended up with very good results and we hope our top pupils will get very good national schools,” said Mmbihi.
