Disintegration of the NASA coalition risks chances of any of the coalition principals becoming president in the 2022 polls.

Speaking when he launched ANC membership registration in Kakamega County, the deputy party leader and Lugari Ayub Savula said it is the prerogative of the NASA coalition principals to make sure they remain united if they are to trounce other opponents eying the presidency.

Savula further revealed that the ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi stands the best chance of ascending to the state house compared to his ODM counterpart Raila Odinga who will easily lose to the deputy president Dr. William Ruto, adding that if the coalition stands, then the other principals should rally their support behind Musalia Mudavadi who has proven to have the capability of reviving the country’s economy.

The MP who has declared his interest in Kakamega county gubernatorial held a consultative meeting with ANC grass root leaders in Nzoia Ward, Likuyani Constituency where he stressed on the need to have the grass root leaders register ‘en masse’ as ANC members and aid in recruiting more members from all the polling stations, a move that will be critical in promotion of the party’s visibility.

He further implored upon the leaders to support his gubernatorial bid and that of the ANC’s presidential flag bearer Musalia Mudavadi, as he gave them registration cards to be distributed in all the polling stations.
