A section of Nandi residents are an unsatisfied lot after their expectations on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s state of the nation address were dashed. Speaking to the press in Kapsabet after the address, they said they are very disappointed since some of the issues they wanted addressed like details on the revival of the economy, fight against corruption among others weren’t talked about. They wondered why the President failed to outline measures to tackle corruption cases in the country, dealing with public debt and instead pushed the BBI narrative, which they said is of little value to the common mwananchi. “We don’t need the BBI, we need services and development,” they affirmed.
