Senator David Wakoli’s office, in a continued effort to support vulnerable people, has distributed food aid to over four hundred widows in the Bukembe East Ward.
This initiative, spearheaded by Ward Representative Caleb Barasa, Senator Wakoli’s representative Brian Mukhebi, and Mutaki Simiyu, assistant to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetangula, aims to alleviate hardship during challenging times.
Beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude to Senator Wakoli and Speaker Wetangula for their compassionate outreach.
The distribution, which has already extended to the Mukuyuni and Nalondo West wards, has provided essential sustenance to more than two thousand widows and vulnerable individuals across the region. This ongoing effort underscores the Senator’s commitment to supporting the most needy within Bungoma County.
