Sirisia Constituency political race is becoming hotter as more candidates join the race to challenge the incumbent Member of Parliament John Koyi Waluke.
The race has attracted more than five candidates including the current MP John Waluke who was cleared on Tuesday after facing opposition concerning his maize scandal case.
Other aspirants who were cleared by IEBC are Moses Nandalwe (ODM), Kasembeli Nasiuma (Ford Kenya), Levy Makali (DAP- K), Moses Waliaula (Independen) and Sadiq Lukhale EPP.
The task is now upon Sirisia people to choose a responsible leader who will represent them well and bring development.
Religious leaders and government administrators have advocated for peace urging candidates to conduct peaceful campaigns during this election period.
Mr. Hamisi Kunguru Supkem leader in Sirisia Constituency has pleaded to all aspirants to sell their manifestos to people without causing any violence.
“The trend of politicians campaigning with clubs and other sorts of harming objects should be discouraged, we need to do modern politics so we differ in ideologies.” He said.
