St. John’s Chemuswai High School in Chesumei constituency has received a 62-seater bus courtesy of Chesumei constituency development funds (CDF) under the leadership of the area MP Wilson Kogo. Speaking during the official reception of the bus at the school grounds, Eldoret diocese Bishop Mr. Dominic Kimengich who was the chief guest of the event lauded the efforts of Kogo for ensuring schools without buses acquire them.

The Bishop urged the students to work hard in their education in order to have a brighter future adding that education is the only equalizer in life thus should aim high. The Bishop together with the member of parliament also officially opened 2 complete classrooms at the school fully funded by the CDF and laid a foundation stone for school dormitory and a dining hall respectively. He cited that once the projects are completed, they’ll go a long way in uplifting the standards of education.

On the other hand the area MP said his office is working hand in hand with schools to ensure quality development projects are achieved as it goes a long way to boost and uplifting the standards of education. He also revealed that he will be having the same event on Friday at Kechire Mixed Day School where he will be handing over the bus to the school.
