St. Joseph’s Chepterit girls high school has been closed after two separate dorm fire incidences. The school’s board of management decided it was the best decision to close the school to pave he way for further investigations.
The school was closed on Friday and students were released for the school’s management fully assess the losses and measures are set to be taken to deal with any similar cases in the future.
The school is set to be reopened after two weeks to allow students to prepare for exams. Nandi Central police boss Stephen Obara had earlier highlighted that the second case was probably a case of arson, which came a few days after the first fire incidence.
