The Deputy President’s allies led by the Amani National Coalition (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi and Nandi Governor Stephen Sang have told off President Uhuru Kenyatta to leave the DP alone and stop laying a blame game on him wanting him to carry his own cross.
The trio hit out at President Kenyatta over his Labour Day remarks where he publicly blamed his Deputy William Ruto of neglecting him while in his dire need wanting him to stop such blame games and come out clearly to explain to Kenyans how he has been running his government.
“The president should not blame anyone due to his failures, instead he should come out clear and explain to the public how he has been running his government,” they said.
They cited that the President himself was the one who disowned his Deputy when he invited the handshake that destroyed everything thus should not blame Ruto at all for his failures and instead take his responsibility.
“There has not been a single meeting for solution, he needs to tell Kenyans when was the last time he convened or called for a full cabinet meeting to deliberate on the way forward of the country.” They demanded.
The trio was addressing the public in North Rift region during the Interdenominational prayers and thanks giving service for United Democratic Party nominees from the region.
