A day after former Kakamega Senator Dr. Bonny Khalwale shelved his Governor’s bid and announced to back Senator Cleophas Malala, on Thursday, 24th March the duo held several rallies in Kakamega town as they urged Kakamega voters to support them and the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Senator Malala and Khalwale led their supporters in Kakamega town saying Mulembe nation is fighting for 30% representation in the government that will be formed by the Deputy President Dr. William Ruto.
They vowed to walk the talk urging Kakamega voters to support them in the seats they are vying for.
Khalwale will be vying on a UDA ticket and Malala on ANC ticket.
