Sexual harassment cases are common in Kenya raising a concern on how society is behaving beastly.
Women and Men are prone to such ill practice and there is a need for the society to share out and condemn the menace,pouring cold water on in it will make the culprit continue with their practice.
Women in their workplace have been sexually harassed and molested by their bosses and due to fear of losing their jobs has resulted in them keeping silence.
Men have also been victims of circumstance and fear of shame from the society has made them keep silence hence advocating the woes.
People with resources are able to bring matters to the tribunal without the outcry of the public, but people from humble background have been manipulated by those who command wealth in the society.
The menace starts from home up to the working place young and innocent girls and boys are being sexually molested by close relative,there some cases a parent go to an extent of harassing his daughter sexually,in such incidence the victim become the slave of threats once she reveals the incidence she faces danger of losing her life.
What is the cause of such cases? Men have been complaining about the mode of dressing women are putting on, but what about women in Turkana and Samburu walking bare-chested,does it mean that men from that side are not wired with the kind of dressing women have embraced in that region?
Women enjoy the freedom of dressing in the country and even at the workplace there is a dressing code but it is clear that even if a woman wears clothes which men think is right she will be molested.
Men should learn how to control their lust rather than shifting the blame to women.
But now I am not advocating for women to wear clothes that expose their anatomy let them wear decently.
