The Kenyan National Assembly Speaker Moses Masika Wetangula has assured Kenyans that the new government has a mechanism of reviving economy and reduce the cost of living and prices of basic commodities across the country.
Addressing congregants of Roman Catholic Church Ndalu Parish in Tongaren Constituency, Wetangula pledged that the government has put up measures to revive economy and reduce the high cost of living by lowering prices of basic commodities together with farm inputs in order to boost productivity.
He however, wished the Competency Based Curriculum to be dismissed and embrace the 8.4 .4 citing that the nation needs an education system that all stakeholders are comfortable with, compared to CBC which he said that parents, teachers and students are having hard time to initiate.
Wetangula urged elected leaders in Western region ranging from MCAs, MPs and Governors to work together to realize development as he promised to ensure that Turbo – Sikhendu road is tarmacked, together with Brigadier – Misikhu to boost transportation in Tongaren Constituency.

The speaker was accompanied by Bungoma County Women Representative Catherine Wambilianga,Tongaren MP John Chikati, Kanduyi MP John Makali, Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga and Likuyani MP Innocent Mugabe among various MCAs.
