The family of the late Vice President Kijana Wamalwa is mourning the demise of William ‘Willy Big’ Wamalwa, who was Kijana Wamalwa’s third born son. The 33-year-old died on Sunday evening. Confirming his death, Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa said the late William was an obedient man, who was jovial and loved by everyone.
He said the late William was respectful to the entire family and worked hard, fulfilling any task given to him. He added that he was of sound mind and good health throughout his life and became ill abruptly. He was then rushed to Crystal hospital and despite efforts by doctors to treat him, he died at the hospital.
CS Wamalwa, however, cautioned the public against spreading rumors and wait for the official doctor’s autopsy on Tuesday which will establish the real cause of his death, “I want to request everyone to be sensitive with the family and avoid speculation but wait for the doctor’s report…”
He said the burial is slated for Saturday, where they intend to give the late William a befitting send off. On her part, the deceased’s sister Alice Wamalwa urged the public to shun any rumors and propaganda and wait for a postmortem to be conducted. She said William was a loving and respectful person.
