Thomas Wanyama from Kibabii, Bungoma County, has emerged as the winner of this year’s Daihatsu Mira car in the Changamka Ushinde promotion, organized by Khetias Supermarket. The promotion, which ran from December 2024 to February 2025, has rewarded loyal customers with a variety of prizes, including cars, household appliances, and shopping vouchers.
Wanyama, a bursar at St. Mary’s Kibabii High School, was visibly shocked but overjoyed when he received the news of his win. “This is my first time winning a prize like this. I’ve been a loyal customer of Khetias for many years, and it feels great to finally be rewarded,” he said. Wanyama shared his excitement with others, urging fellow residents to continue shopping at the supermarket, as they too could win one day. He praised the welcoming staff and the high-quality products that have kept him coming back for more.
Edward Otieno, the Sales Manager at Khetias Supermarket, emphasized that the promotion was designed to reward their loyal customers. He assured that the draw was conducted fairly, with a digital system used to randomly select winners. Otieno also highlighted that Khetias has given out cars to lucky winners in various towns, including Kitale, Nairobi, and Central Kenya. The final draws will take place in Kakamega and Kisumu on Saturday, where more prizes will be awarded.

In addition to the car, Khetias Supermarket has also given away a range of other prizes such as microwaves, fridges, woofers, and shopping vouchers. “In this promotion, everyone is a winner,” Otieno added, stressing that Khetias remains committed to rewarding its customers for their continued support.
