Three men die in separate incidents in Lugari
Three people have lost their lives in separate incidents within Lugari Sub County according to local administrators.
In one of the incidents, the body of a 40 year old man, identified as Mr. Nicholas Mafwoli, was retrieved from a stream in Maji Mazuri village, in Lugari sub location where it was claimed he had gone to bath on Friday evening.
Confirming the incident, Lugari location Chief, Mr. Evans Adavaji said though the cause of the death remained a mystery, he could, however, not rule out the possibility of foul play.
“The manner in which the body was found floating on the stream suggests possibility of foul play only the head was in water while the rest of the body was out,” noted Adavaji.
According to eye witnesses, the body was floating upside down on the stream.

“And according to family members the deceased had spent better part of the day on their shamba and didn’t indicate any signs of illness,” added the local administrator.
Elsewhere, police officers from Turbo station are hunting down two brothers who have been accused of assaulting their father to death following a domestic row at Minyali village in Mbagara sub location.
According to the area assistant Chief, Mrs. Pamela Kulali, the incident occurred on Friday evening when the deceased, Mzee Zachariah Mukhopi succumbed to serious injuries inflicted on him by the runaway sons while undergoing treatment at Lumakanda Sub County Hospital.
“It is alleged prior to his death, father and son had differed over a family issue,” said Mrs. Kulali, adding though the boys rushed the old man to the hospital, they, however, disappeared upon realizing he had passed on immediately after reaching the hospital.
And in the third incident, residents of Musembe market in Chekalini ward mobbed to death a middle aged man as he attempted to break into an M-Pesa kiosk on Saturday morning.

Musembe Sub Location Assistant Chief, Mr. Richard Etale told West media the deceased, Mr. Andunga Mukalo was caught red handed while breaking into the kiosk a few minutes after3 am by the residents before he was attacked and assaulted to death using crude weapons.
“The deceased was also nabbed with household property, which was suspected to have been stolen,” added Etale.
Bodies of the deceased have been transferred to Kimbilio mortuary, Chebaiywa in Uasin Gishu County.
Security agencies in the area have launched investigations into the three incidents.
