Governor Kenneth Lusaka has today received final reports from three task forces on human resource, pending bills and scholarship.
The task force on scholarship chaired by Ferdinand Nabiswa handed over their report on the exact number of beneficiaries, qualification criteria, budgetary allocations, actual fee balances for beneficiaries among other issues.
The task force on human resource chaired by lawyer Amos Makokha presented a detailed report on the exact number of County staff and identification of casuals who won a court case against the County, the statutory deductions of County workers and their state of remittance.
The pending bills task force chaired by CPA Rashid Simiyu established the actual list of pending bills, evidence of work done/goods delivered, physical verification among others.
Speaking after receiving the reports, Lusaka called on the members of the County Assembly to take legislation action against those who will be held accountable.
” The report will guide us to correct and bring sanity to our County. If I will ask you to step aside for investigation, please comply.” Said Lusaka
Present at the meeting included; Deputy Governor Jennifer Mbatiany, MPs Dan Wanyama (Webuye West), Majimbo Kalasinga (Kabuchai) Members of County Assembly, CECMs, and other senior County government officials.
