“I want to assure residents in Trans Nzoia of enough security and they
should not worry as all systems in the security sector are ready to deal with any eventualities that may arise” said Ojwang.

in making sure the citizens enjoy what they deserve.

assistant County commissioner to make sure cases of animal theft aren’t there and warned those who will not cooperate within their areas of
jurisdiction of dire consequences including surcharging them.

theft, including the areas of Kinyoro, Wamuini and Matisi, adding that at the moment the security situation has been boosted.
He, however, appealed to butchers to make sure they don’t purchase stolen livestock in their respective areas claiming some butchers have been aiding the vice by purchasing stolen animals from thieves.
The County commissioner added that several cases have been reported to
his office concerning butchers purchasing stolen animals claiming
so far investigations are underway and some culprits participating in
the vice will be brought to book.
On road users he called upon drivers to be steady while ferrying
several residents to their respective areas for celebration calling
upon them to desist from driving while drunk as well as overloading passengers.
