Truck drivers operating along Bungoma -Malaba road told to be cautious

The truck drivers have been urged not to over speed or overlap carelessly when using the Bungoma-Malaba road.

There have been common accidents on the road that connects Bungoma County to Busia County. This has been due to careless driving and sometimes over speeding by reckless drivers that use the road.

According to the residents that live along the road, accidents are now becoming more frequent despite the presence of the traffic police officers on the very road.

Some black spot areas have been noted on the road like the Nakuti area in Kimaeti Ward and Amagoro in Busia County whereby accidents are more common and now the drivers have been urged to be much cautious when driving along the said areas.

The government should erect bumps in dangerous areas so as to curb the situation that is causing frequent loss of lives.
