Unknown number feared dead and others trapped in a building that was being demolished at Kanduyi.
The building was being demolished to make way for the construction of the Masinde Muliro Stadium.
It belonged to Mr. Patrick Wangamati, the father of the former Governor of Bungoma County Wycliffe Wangamati.
There has been controversy surrounding the demolition of the building, with Mr. Wangamati heading to court to challenge the demolition after receiving a notice to demolish all structures built on government land.
