Two Korean missionaries have been killed in a robbery attack in Madagascar, according to a diplomatic source.

The attack occurred on Friday when several armed criminals confronted the two Korean nationals near a local church. The two died while receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. The victims had been actively involved in volunteer work within the community.

The perpetrators remain at large, and the exact motive behind the incident has not yet been determined. The South Korean government has requested that the Madagascar authorities conduct a swift investigation into the attack.

A South Korean representative has visited the scene and the hospital to offer assistance, while the families of the victims are expected to travel to Madagascar.
