Uasin Gishu leaders appeal for national cohesion
Religious leaders drawn from Rift Valley have welcomed the victory of their political kin ping William Ruto and Journalist Joshua Arap Sang after the International Criminal Court ICC dismissed the case against the duo.
The leaders have called for national cohesion and peace, saying Kenya has a national has come along away in fighting to get out of the Rome statute that initiated the ICC after the two were charged for involving in 2007-2008 post poll fracas that saw over 1000 Kenyans lost their lives.
Led by the leader of Muslim faith Abubakar Ahmed Bini and chairman of religious leaders in Uasin Gishu Bishop Wilson Kurui, the leaders expressed their joy on the decision made by ICC to set the two free from of any crime hence asking Kenyans to empress togetherness in a bid to heel the Nation.

They challenged the Deputy President to ensure he works with the President for the betterment of the Kenyans.
“The Deputy President is now free to work and to move all over the world and should work with President Uhuru and bring Kenya to greater heights,” said Abubakar.
They appealed to politicians to shun abusive politics especially as the state s headed towards the 2017 general elections.
