US Ambassador to Kenya Kyle McCarter has affirmed his support for the BBI report, saying that what he has seen in the report reflects what Kenyans desire. Speaking during a visit to Nandi County to check on the progress of the ongoing projects funded by the US government, McCarter said he doesn’t hold onto everything in the report but he believes what he has seen equates to the desire of Kenyans to come together as one nation and people.
The US Ambassador who was accompanied by his wife Victoria McCarter said he believes the BBI report is worth its weight and will work to deliver great things for Kenyans.
He was received by the Nandi Deputy Governor Dr. Yulita Cheruiyot along with other top County officials. McCarter visited various projects across Nandi including the integrated outpatient comprehensive care center in Nandi Hills County hospital.
