Vihiga Senator George Khaniri has accused the jubilee administration of negligence concerning the murder of businessman Jacob Juma.
Khaniri said that the controversial businessman was murdered due to his strong stand on corruption and that he predicted his death over social media yet the government never took the matter seriously.

“Juma had a strong stand and fought the government over corruption,” he was aware of his death but the Jubilee administration failed to pick up the matter.” Said Khaniri,
He said security agencies should investigate the matter and murderers be bought to book.
“We want justice to prevail and the perpetrators brought to book, as Western leaders we will not sit down and see the Country be turned into a killing field.” He added.
The Senator said that he doubts whether investigating arm will act on the matter and challenged the government to pick up the matter and punish the culprits.
The Senator hit out at the Jubilee’s leadership saying it would not be in power for too long if such incidences continue to occur at the expense of the government’s negligence.
The Kisumu Senator Anyang Nyo’ngo supported the Senator’s sentiments over the murder and called upon the Government to protect its citizens.
“The government has the right to provide security to its citizens and respect human rights,” Nyo’ngo said.
The two leaders were speaking at Givole High school in Vihiga during a fundraiser.
The business man was murdered while driving home Thursday night buy unknown assailants along Ngong road in Nairobi.
