Hon. Martin Pepela Wanyonyi, Webuye East Member of Parliament hosted a successful consultative meeting today with a diverse group of key stakeholders from the constituency, including elders, opinion leaders, and community representatives. - Presidential visit preparations The upcoming visit of the President to Webuye East was a major agenda item. Stakeholders discussed preparations to ensure the visit results in tangible benefits for the constituency, including key development projects and community engagement.
- Tarmacking of Lugulu-Lukusi Road The tarmacking of the Lugulu-Lukusi Road was highlighted as a game-changer for the region. The project promises to improve road infrastructure, facilitate trade, and enhance regional connectivity, ultimately boosting the local economy.
- Operationalization of Magemo TTI The meeting also focused on efforts to fully operationalize the Magemo Technical Training Institute (TTI). These institutions had faced significant challenges due to inadequate infrastructure, hindering the learning environment for students. In line with his campaign promises, Hon. Wanyonyi is prioritizing education and ensuring the equitable distribution of resources across schools to provide students with the best possible learning conditions.
