Webuye West Member of Parliament Dan Wanyama has called on Western region people to reject Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Presidential candidate Raila Odinga saying he only uses Luhya leaders and eventually dump them.

While drumming support for Kenya Kwanza, Wanyama said up to now no one knows the stake of the Western region in Azimio La Umoja while Kenya Kwanza side has made it clear that Western has thirty percent of the government if it wins in the forthcoming general election and appealed to the people of Bungoma and Western at large to support their bid and make Dr. William Ruto the current Deputy President their President by voting for him to the last person.

“Last time I told you that Raila ‘s posh mill isn’t working but still you went there and you saw what happened even to our own brother Senator Moses Wetangula, his minority seat was taken away and given to his own person from his home county Siaya, now do you still believe him? Let us support Kenya Kwanza for prosperity of our region because we have a confirmed share, “said Wanyama while addressing Wamangoli residents.

He added that even after getting handshake development trappings he never shared with his brothers who campaigned for him twice and said this confirms that he can’t be trusted with the votes of the Luhya nation.

On matters education, he appreciated the teachers from his constituency for working hard and  produce the best results in KCPE and KCSE 2021 and urged them to keep up with the spirit promising to work on infrastructure of the schools across the constituency.

He appealed to parents to work hand in hand with the school management to improve the results.
