Farmers from Wekelekha village of Napara location, Bumula Sub-County have raised complaint against the impassable roads in the region.
As most farmers are now harvesting their crops, the roads that connect the village to other parts of the County are mostly muddy and can’t be used by vehicles to ferry their farm produce to the market.
They have urged the government to help them by improving the infrastructure in the region, for swift transportation of their goods to other parts of the country.
On the other hand, they have added that the area isn’t connected to the electricity thus making it very risky to the occupants. This also affects their businesses as they are required to be indoors by latest 7pm.
Wekelekha area for a longer period has been with no public primary school, as learners from the area are forced to go to neighboring schools, several kilometers away. This is also hindered by the very impassable roads.
