West Pokot schools have posted impressive results in the just released 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education [KCSE] results.
Among the top schools in the County are Chewoyet Boys National school which produced ten A minus and 33 B +,39 B and 39 B – ,Kapenguria Boys High school which produced 6 A minus and Nasokol Girls high school which had one A minus.
At Kapenguria Boys high school, Frank Fezzyl Omondi with A – of 78 point and Kiringa Emanuel topped with A- of 78 points each, Clinton Kipkoech and Donatus Kiptoo also tied with A- of 77 points, Pusia Dilon Kiprop got A- of 76 points.
At Nasokol girls a girl Rahab Thuku Wangare topped with A – of 74 points.
Chewoyet National School Principal Mr Barasa Kiminisu said that the school has a mean score of 7.068 noting that the school has maintained its standard.
Kapenguria Boys high school Principal Moses Ndeda said that despite the many challenges, candidates posted good results.
