A week after a bizarre wedding with the holy spirit in Makutano Township, Kapenguria, West Pokot County, Elizabeth Nalem has gotten her first assignment from God.
The woman is said to be being directed by the holy spirit has never been seen in her home since the unique ceremony that happened at Chelang’a Gardens in Kapenguria went viral on social media and made headlines in the local, National and International media outlets.
The 41 year old mother of six who had a colorful, unique wedding last week has been spotted at Ng’otut area, Kasei ward in North Pokot sub County along the Kenya –Uganda border.
This has been seen as the honey moon for her as she is being accompanied by her bridesmaid.
She pointed out that she was told to write the names of people in files, rubber stamp them with God’s blood.
The woman who said that she is now putting up at her in-law’s place at Ng’otut narrated that she left behind her children and husband because she has got God’s Job.
She pointed out that she closed her hotel business in Makutano town to embark on her new duties.
“God told me that he knows what my family will have to eat. He will take care of them,” she said
She however says she is still communicating with her husband Mr Joshua Nalem.
She noted that she was waiting for the day before she headed to Uganda for a crusade.
“The holy spirit is driving me to Uganda,”said Nalem.
The incident has left many guessing as to what was the reason for the married woman to make such a hard decision of leaving her matrimonial husband and wed with the holy spirit.
Speaking to the press the husband Joshua Nalem said he doesn’t believe his eyes and he is even shocked with the occurrence of events.
“Am perturbed. I paid 22 cows for my wife and right now she is wedding holy spirit. This is unbelievable,” he said.
Pastor Albert Rumaita of the Anglican Churc Makutano who tied the knot said the world might be coming to an end and he had no option but to tear the line and do what the lady requested him to do.
Mr Rumaita was forced to buy the wedding gown for her together with a priesthood robe which she wore after the wedding.
