Being a wife you need to dedicate most of your time to your spouse, however much tight is your work schedule. You need to balance your love life with your work.

Show your husband that you can take care of him perfectly; and this will save you the drama that may arise because your nanny has taken over your position.

Failure to this will result into your husband having a second option who is your house help.

Some chores are sacred and as a wife it is your obligation to carry them out yourself. Do not delegate the following chores to your house help for any reasons whatsoever.

Making food:

Since it is said that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach the woman of the house should be the one to prepare food for the husband, the maid will cook for him and in the process, win his affection.

Men do enjoy meals prepared by their wives therefore if at any stage the wife becomes lazy and leave this important chore to the housemaid. the spouse may get used to her food and opt to have her as the wife.

Doing laundry:

Remember a nanny’s chores are to take care of the children, when it comes to your husband’s laundry, do it yourself. Men love being washed and ironed clothes by their other half, this starts with the inner garments and other garments.

Therefore as a wife if you will also leave this to your housemaid you will regret thereafter.

Spreading the bed:

Women sometimes have a weakness of letting maids take complete control of their families, that is from taking care of the kitchen to the master bedroom; this is a mistake because one is providing space for the man to get in touch with the maid which can result into intimacy

The matrimonial bed is the most important and delicate part of your house as wife you should not allow your nanny to enter your bedroom, but if you are so lazy that you can’t even spread your own bed and leave to her get assured that after spreading there will be a mission accomplished when you are away.

Taking water to the bathroom:

Some women show their husbands that they are not capable of handling even the tiniest of responsibilities. Since they pay the house maid for the work they do, they will want her to be the one to do every chore in the house.

Make this your entire duty when you are present. When you are away you should train your husband to be doing this for himself.

Explain to him how you feel like doing it for him but the situation has forced you not to do so therefore if he does it himself you feel protected and loved and promise to do it better when you are back.

Escorting your husband to his car when leaving the house:

This should be done by you and you alone. If one day you will develop that character of laziness and pretend to be tired or being busy and tell your house girl to carry your husband’s suitcase or any other thing he is travelling with you leave your husband with questions that will never be answered thus opt for the one who escorted him because he may feel that in her is when he can get solace and love.

Keep yourself clean and smart:

Men love smartness because a smart wife probably is beautiful. Put on smart and clean clothes, if you have long hair keep it smart if you do have short hair maintain it to be admirable.

Don’t just leave your hair to be shaggy under the excuse of ‘I don’t have money to make it’. Ask for money you need to make your hair from your husband but if you are working and at least you earn something you can better make your hair if your husband has not given you.

House cleanliness:

You should learn to keep your house clean and this ranges from the kitchen to the bedroom.

Dirt makes husbands live scared and find second thought therefore as a wife you should try and arrange things in the house how they should be don’t leave this for your house girl because your husband will realize that all is done by her therefore opt for her.

Allowing your husband watch movies in the company of the housemaid:

However much tired you are and your spouse wants to watch certain soaps that he loves, give him company. Don’t go to bed early and leave him with the nanny, you better doze and sleep on the chair as he watches the movie. This will make him feel how you sacrifice your love for him.

Going for shopping:

This is a family issue and it should be done by yourself and your husband therefore if your spouse needs somebody to go with never suggest that it is the nanny who knows what is required to be bought so she may accompany him to the shopping center.

Never allow this to happen even a single second because as they travel / walk together it will bring that closeness that may end up into something else.

Therefore when busy better let your spouse go alone.

Time with your children:

You may find yourself pretending to have a tight schedule in that you can’t even spare time to be with your children so all this is left to your nanny.

Remember this will earn her some degree as a caring and loving mother who your spouse might opt to have her for being loving and responsible to children.

If you are a working wife learn to be hardworking, caring, loving and responsible to your husband and children. For this will make your marriage move with no complain from your spouse. Assign your housemaid duties that are not meant for you as a wife.

So learn to put barriers; guard what is rightfully yours.
