Recuperating Mbakalo MCA appears in Public
After allegedly being abducted and later found alive Mbakalo MCA, Bethwel Mwambu Fwamba has expressed gratitude to all the people who stood by him and his family during the period saying he is still undergoing treatment and is hoping to resume his duties after getting better.
Speaking during his first public address after overseeing giving out of free fertilizer and seedlings from the County government to vulnerable and disabled residents in his ward Mwambu said he is lucky to be alive saying the incident has really affected his health.
However he called upon the beneficiaries of the fertilizer and seedling to ensure they use it well to plant during this rainy season so as to have enough food in their homes during the harvest season to counter hunger.

Hon. Mwambu discouraged them against selling the seedlings and the fertilizer cheaply saying they will be licensing themselves to hunger which he says will be bad manners since he himself went round the ward to identify the deserving men and women who were to benefit.
He further disclosed that during the harvest those who benefited will have to give out a bag of maize to be stored at a central place where after the price of maize stabilizes it will be sold and the money used to purchase for them seedlings for next year’s planting season and urged them to co operate with the ministry official during the exercise.
“Those who have benefited this year will not do so next year as we will have to identify other vulnerable and deserving members of the society who are also living under the poverty line for them to also be able to reap the fruits of the County government under the leadership of Governor Kenneth Lusaka” he said
