Addressing residents of Likuyani ward in his constituency, Dr. Kibunguchy commended secondary schools in the Sub County for posting good results in the 2021 examinations with a total of 601 candidates who sat the examination in schools within the Sub County scoring C+ and above.

He said those who scored grade A plain will each be rewarded with Kshs. 40, 000 and a laptop while those who managed A- will get Kshs. 30, 000 and a laptop. For those who scored grade B+ will each receive Kshs. 20, 000 and a laptop as those who managed to get B plain to C+ get Kshs. 20,000 each.

He said this was a way of motivating other candidates to focus on their education and do better in their final examinations.

Kibunguchy has promised to continue prioritizing education by creating a conducive learning environment for both teachers and learners through improving infrastructure in schools within the Sub County.

Elsewhere, Kibunguchy used the opportunity to rubbish information circulating on the social media that he had withdrawn from the Likuyani parliamentary seat race ahead of the August 9th polls.

He called on his opponents to stop employing cheap propaganda to get the attention of electorates but instead sell their manifesto in a peaceful way.

He assured his supporters that he was still in the race to defend his seat in the forthcoming General Elections.
