Faces of sons and daughters of Mulembe region are among those nominated by President William Ruto as Cabinet administrative secretaries in different ministries. It is viewed as fulfillment of a 30% share that was agreed between Dr Moses Wetangula, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and President William Ruto during their Campaigns in August general Elections last year.
Former Kiminini Legislature Chris Wamalwa, who unsuccessfully ran for the gubernatorial seat in Transznoia County, was nominated as CAS to the ministry of water, sanitation and irrigation.
Former Mumias East Legislature Benjamin Washiali, was nominated as CAS to the ministry of roads and transport
Hon Jackline Mwenesi Lukalo( mama teargas) who also vied and lost as a Woman Representative in Vihiga County was Nominated as CAS to the Ministry of Environment, climate change and forestry
Former Vihiga Legislature Alfred Agoi, was nominated as CAS to the ministry of Defense.
Bungoma Women Representative aspirant, who vied and lost in Last year’s general election Hon Charity Nancy Kibaba, was nominated as CAS to the ministry of Public Service, gender and Affirmative action. Until his nomination, Hon Kibaba has been working as Youths and Sports CEC in Bungoma County appointed by Governor Ken Lusaka.
Long time Personal secretary to Bungoma Governor Edwin Sudi Wandabusi, was nominated as CAS to the office of the Deputy President
