The elected leaders in the Senate, the National Assembly, Governors, County Assemblies are in a frenzy gobbling tax payers monies in the name of free cars for Members of Parliament, Senate and subsidized mortgages , car loans positioning for chairing committee with hefty allowances, sitting allowances.

They are plundering tax payers resources left , right and center completely unchecked , a law onto themselves and then they top up the feast of looting with their corruption, extortion networks of the national and County government levels.

Is it any wonder that they are the fattest, smoothest, designed with dressed swaggering confident Kenyans who then ash up and down at funerals in their villages to talk abstract, theoretical politics of NASA and Jubilee, swearing in who and what fancies their egos.

The national budget of the country and county governments are literally servicing the pleasures, fancies, corrupt whims , comforts , conveniences, imaginations of elected leaders, national and County public servants and then the remaining peanuts, crump’s thereof doled out in pitiful so called development projects. Is it any wonder the elected leaders can spew political nonsense from January to December year in year out without addressing the grave questions of youth unemployment, inability of the majority of parents to meet the educational , healthy and nutritional needs of their children.

Is it not in the blissful world of elected leaders living and drowning on the sweet and blood of taxpayers that they can engage endlessly day and night talking about how they will be governors come 2022 or presidential candidates in 2022 yet those who elect them have to fight the scourges of diseases ignorance , poverty with bare hands, with no tax payers resources to help them lift themselves up?

The elected leaders of western Kenya cannot be permitted to endlessly yap about Luhyia Unity year in year out, one election after another election, one lie after another lie. Surely how many wars most generals permitted to wage and loose and they come back and pretend they will win the next one.

Tune most come when political jokes, political comedy come to an end and real men and women of action rise from the ignominy that is westerns political landscape and a new generation constructed with new ways of doing the business of politics, harnessing our economy re-engineering our social organization and addressing the challenges that face the people with concrete measurable solutions.

Political illusions must surely come to an end and common sense, reality and the work of building a sustainable western in earnest.

It is the elected leaders both in Government and opposition who have captured the resources of the state fir their pleasure enrichment and left those who elected them to fend for themselves as the tax payers resources are at the who, of the elected leaders and public servants.

The sad story of Kenya as a Nation is that it is suffocating in the poison of corruption, tribalism and incompetence in governance. Regardless of the political divide unless the three poisons killing the nation are removed we cannot rise to our fullest potential and ensure prosperity for the majority of Kenyans.
