147 people have tested positive for Covid-19 taking the total cases in Kenya to 96,139. The cases were picked from a sample size of 3,043 tested in the last 24 hours. The cumulative tests have now reached 1,038,352. Of the new cases 137 are Kenyans while 10 are foreigners.
138 patients have recovered from the disease, 126 being from the home based care, while 12 have been discharged from various hospitals and the total recoveries now stand at 77,659. 1 patient has succumbed to the disease bringing the cumulative fatalities to 1,665.
In terms of admissions, 670 patients are admitted in various health facilities countrywide and 3,368 are on home based care. 31 patients are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 17 of whom are on ventilatory support, and 12 on supplemental oxygen, while 2 are on observation. 17 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen, out of whom 15 are in the general wards and 2 are in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
