A sombre mood engulfed St. Bernard Secondary School and its environs in Teso North Sub County, Busia County following the sudden death of its Principal Fredmax Barasa.
Barasa (58) died on Sunday night while receiving treatment Life Care hospital in Bungoma County where he was hospitalized shortly after developing sudden health complications.
Accordingly to his family, the late has been battling with chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes but has been showing improvement in recent days, adding that they were shocked to learn of his untimely demise.
”He has been off and on as far as his health condition was concerned.” His health deteriorated on Suday evening and we rushed him to a Malaba Health Center before we transferred him to Life Care hospital in Bungoma after his condition became worse.” His wife said.
She said they were shocked to learn of his demise.
Several school principals in Busia County have eulogised the late Fredmax as a dedicated teacher who will be missed by all and sundry.
