Political aspirants vying for different seats in Ford Kenya party in Bumula Sub County have been assured that nominations in the Sub County will be free and fair. Led by Mwambu Mabonga, who is vying for the seat of Bumula Member of parliament on a Ford Kenya ticket, the nomination process will be transparent. He urged those who will be defeated during the nominations to keep on supporting the party.
“I want to assure you that the upcoming nominations will be free and fair. Therefore, you should come out in large numbers and elect a leader who will lead you well through the designated tenure. A leader who will ensure that the lifestyle of Bumula people changes,” said Mabonga.
Also addressing the residents in Kimaeti, Jack Wambulwa who is vying for the Member of County Assembly seat for Kimaeti ward, urged Ford Kenya supporters to come out in large numbers and give full support to aspirants vying for different seats in the party.
“We want you to choose leaders who will represent you fully. You can only achieve this by electing leaders who will bring development. I also want to inform you that nomination will be free, fair and credible,” said Wambulwa.
The two insisted that Ford Kenya party has influence and ability to bring change to Western Kenya. They urged Kenyans to maintain peace and unity as the country is preparing for the general election and avoid politicians who cling to inciting remarks that may result to disruption of unity.
