Man arrested for defiling 10 years old daughter

Police at Kitale station are holding a middle aged man for defiling his 10 years old daughter.

The man, George Wandaki a father of three was arrested on Tuesday 14th 2016 at Kipsongo area in Kitale after committing the heinous crime.

The man who is also separated by his wife was reported by the daughter at the chief’s station of Kipsongo area.

The daughter claimed that his father had defiled her at night when they were asleep and in the morning he took away the dress that the daughter wore and threw it away at the toilet.

The victim a Bodaboda operator did the offence at his own small house that he has rented at Kipsongo slum, was arrested by chief Charles Namunyu of township location and taken to the Kitale police station where he is being held awaiting charges of defilement.

Chief Namunyu said the cases of children defilement within the county is on increase and the trend unto which the cases is being reported is high appealing to the residents take great care of their children.

He however appealed to parents to solve their domestic issues amicably without separation terming the manner into which the children of the arrested suspect had lived as disturbing as the surroundings pathetic and in bad shape.

He however promised that stern action will be taken against the offender and vowed to zero in on culprits doing the acts saying he will not be lenient to the law breakers especially the defilers who he termed as law breakers who aught to stay behind the bars.
